if someone accepts nauseous instead of nauseated do they not really understand that someone might vomit? i don't see the logic here.

If this makes you mad, you must get infuriated by the misuse of the various terms of animals in groups?

For instance, ducks.

A group of ducks is a brace on the ground. Once they hit the air though, they are now a flock. On water, the are a raft, unless they are paddling, in which case they are a team.

The point being, sometimes it matters, sometimes it doesn't. Crusade as you like, but you'll most likely lose in the end to convenience.
