clamshell packaging, I broke my scissors trying to open them once, and when the plastic is mangled it is SHARP, you can probably skin deer with it. Woe to the countless souls who have sliced their hands trying to open it, it's a mystery why the companies that manafacture them haven't been sued to oblivion, they could definitely manufacture safer stuff.

Whether or not you paid for it isn't my point. If you want to rage against anything without basic utility, you're talking about the humanities, art, etc. And since people do these things for a living, someone has to pay money for it or it doesn't exist.
