I don't understand why this went in front a judge.

This is a game with arbitrary rules that everyone agrees to. Brady broke the rules. Brady should be playing Arena football or CFL.

What evidence is there that Brady broke the rules? The CBA gives Goodell the power to levy penalties against players for violations, but there has to be evidence supporting the claim that the player engaged in violations. All they have on Brady is that be destroyed his phone, which they conflate with evidence that he was involved in tampering with the footballs. This is not evidence of that at all.

Are we really supposed to give a shit? After they made that dude sell his basketball team for expressing his opinion. For me anyway, pro sports is a joke that is even of less importance then what the Kardashians are doing.

Yeah it's fun. Unfortunately it can be painful too when a team gets your hopes up but ultimately it's just an escape.

I'll also note, Brady didn't even file the papers to take this to court, Goodell & Co filed to have it upheld pre-emptively, thinking they could set the venue with a judge who would side with them. They obviously failed at that.

Also, f**k those people that act like disliking sports makes you more intellectual. It is possible to intellectualize sports as much as you want, but sometimes it can just be fun, too.
