A double jeopardy agreement can be made in Rice's case.. For this offense he was already punished by the NFL, and the courts. Case is over, so he shouldn't be punished anymore..

BUT in the sports world that's not the way it works.. Rice, the players and the owners signed a contract. The laws of our criminal justice system mean little.

Dunno. 8.13 (E) of 2006 bylaws says comish can modify at will unless the punishment requires exec committee approval. I don't think this does I think it's just actions under 8.13 (B) that require approval and suspensions are under 8.13 (A).

Anyway how about those Giants huh? LOL

If they were in a tough division they would be 5-11 this year.. But in the NFC Least? They could go 11-5.. Except for Philly what an awful division.
