Saw The Hobbit tonight. Highly recommend it.
I thought it f**k great. Rollicking, even. All the way through. And appropriately scenic.
And it seems like some decent sci fi movies will be hitting the theatres this spring and summer, if the trailers were any indication. Offerings by Tom Cruise, Will Smith, and a really cool animated thing (fantasy actually) called "Epic" that actually did look like it had some potential to live up to it's name.
At least the 3D made it seem that way. Boy that has really improved since the last time I saw one back in the late 70's or early 80's. lol
