Some seriously shit taste in here. Sorry, but Avicii is not and never will be a classic. People don't even respect his shit music now. It's like all that worthless rave music from the 1990s. If you're not a douche between the age of 16 and 23, you don't know Avicii. God help us if children of the future consider that garbage to be classic. Also, talking about individual songs is stupid. What classic artists do you guys know that only had one good song? Iron Butterfly (the In-a-gadda-da-vida band for you Avicii fans)?
Want to talk about Album sales? Celine Dion, ABBA, Garth Brooks, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, The Carpenters, and New Kids on the Block have all sold around 100,000,000 records or more. Classics? Just because something was extremely popular at the time does not mean they will continue to be popular. Those musicians/bands are jokes now because they were TOO popular (and also f**k sucked). They need enough sales to be recognizable, after which sales don't matter. Zappa never sold shit for records and he is definitely a classic.
