Why? Spite? They are already rolling in wealth with that high flying minimum wage job...so now I guess we suddenly abandon the entire tipping tradition?

Yeah you have to be living in some kind of fantasy land to think people wouldn't justify not leaving a tip when they find out that servers now receive a higher hourly wage.

To be fair, Spider lives in Portland. The guy who jerks off a grass fed goat that jizzes all over your organic gluten free waffles only moment before you eat them (considered a delicacy in Portland) probably deserves minimum wage plus tip.

We pay our servers the minimum wage, even though we could technically pay them $8.90 an hour, which is $1.35 less than minimum. Their tips are pretty good too. 20-25% is the average I'd guess.
