Not been on here for a little while. Anyways, I'm working 40+ hours a week in a subway 'restaurant'. Minimum wage job, but I need the money to do my masters next year. Applying to uni's in the UK such as Manchester and Bristol, also thinking of applying to Oxford but I don't think I can afford to go even if I got in. My first choice at the moment is still UvA in Amsterdam though!

Got a phone call from the NSPCC (children's charity) asking me if I'd like to run the London marathon next year for them, which I've obviously accepted! Got to raise £2k by April, which could be a challenge but should be doable. Then of course is the small matter of running the marathon, so I've joined a gym which was needed anyway considering I seriously need to put on some weight.

My new pet project will be to set up a home media system on a Raspberry Pi by using XBMC. Ordered all the stuff for it a few days ago and should be arriving soon. Will be pretty awesome to stream hd films and tv shows straight to my tv from a device that costs so little.
