Your description of his preparation of the pizza makes me think that perhaps we watched two entirely different videos. Your description is not at all what I saw.

Well, it wasn't really a perfectly round pizza with cheese going all the way to the edge and evenly spaced toppings.
It was more of a "heirloom" style effort. And it looked damn good to me too. But Ex raises some delicious points as well.

The basil does appear to be clumped in the middle, but it didn't look especially sloppy besides that to me. I'm not an expert at baking pizza, only eating it. I would have to try a slice of his pizza before I could really render a judgement.

Lotta jealous people out there.
I actually plan on making a pizza of my own soon. I helped make some this summer with friends using some of the fresh basil and zucchinis from my garden. It was so good.
