Greatest accomplishment of an expansion team in any sport ever. I heard a discussion on sports radio today that pulled up the most comparable stats from all the major North American sports and nothing is even in the ballpark.

George McPhee is a great deal guy and did a lot of clever side deals to assemble this team. He also benefitted from very favorable expansion rules.

I'm wondering where this talent for assembling winners was during his DC days. Always been great at making deals but this is new. Mother f**k.

I dont know much about what happens out west. I'll have to research the knights and see how they match up.

Hopefully they are as easily fooled by a basic 4-1 scheme as the vaunted lightning. who I think had maybe 5 clean 5v5 offensive zone entrances in the last 3 games and looked wildly outmatched the entire series.
