I understand all about rookie QB's.. Actually I'm a HUGE proponent of having a rookie QB sit on the bench and watch for 2-3 years. But that doesn't happen much anymore.. Anyway I've also seen enough football and QB's to have a good idea if a QB 'has it', or not... Smith doesn't have it, he's lost out there, and getting back to my favorite QB 'need' Smith isn't anywhere near accurate enough to be a starting QB. He's all over the place. A QB either has accuracy or he doesn't. Over time can a QB improve on his accuracy? I guess he can, but he has to show something early.. Smith shows little. Even a small improvement isn't going to be good enough.

BTW NOTHING is 100%.. In his 1st few years John Elway had little touch. On screen passes he's throw the ball 100 MPH at running backs who were only 10 yds from him. But he did learn.. AND it was a different game then too.

Even funnier is that the Cards destroyed the Colts, and as of today I can't help but feel sad for Geno Smith.

Feel sad for the Jets fans.. They haven't had a franchise QB since Namath. And unless some kind of miracle happens with Sims(because he's gonna be the starter pretty soon), the Jet QB drought continues.
