Sam Rockwell as basically the only person on screen for two hours did an amazing job. I loved his performance and that movie. I even thought the special effects were good. Which is amazing considering the movie cost just 5 million dollars. 5 million, and it made on of the best movies I've seen.

You should give it another chance uber.

There's no reason to. It is way too slow, way too boring. And this is coming from a person that has watched Waterworld many, many times.

Here's the thing that really irked me - I know exactly what was going on before changing the channel. I knew that there was a clone. I knew someone would end up dying (although I don't know who it was at this point as I've still never watched the movie and don't know what happened past the point I watched). There was no suspense - just flat out annoyance. The movie was just too slow for me.

Slow things don't usually bother me. I watch survival shows. I watch slow movies and typically enjoy them. I read slow books (like history books and such).

This movie just pissed me off though.

Moon was okay, not the greatest but still fine. I do like old pre-Star Wars sci-fi movies like The Man Who Fell To Earth, Silent Running, Rollerball and Zardoz. They were more cerebral and actually made you think as opposed to the fx extravaganzas we have now.
