Portland definitely has talent in the culinary world. But NYC is going to keep being the best because the best guys in Portland, if they have big career ambitions, end up in New York.
Portland is like a small market MLB team with a great farm system and a modest payroll. NY is the Yankees, the Redsox, and the Phillies.
