Ok the shock has subsided enough for me to make my obligatory rant: I know this was a bad year for Chip, but so f**k dumb. I have to hope he did something real f**k slimy behind the scenes that lead to this, cause otherwise there's no way this is a good move. You just in January gave him authority to completely overhaul the roster, which can obviously take more than a year to yield good results, but we'll never know about this one because there's no way the next coach isn't going to overhaul it right all over again. Oh yeah, speaking of that, the one positive point for the Eagles to take away from this year is that in the latter part of the season, Sam Bradford was playing really well and getting better with time. But he's a free agent after Sunday and my guess is he now wants nothing to do with this carnival side show known as the Philadelphia Eagles. So that big trade we made to get him was just a one year rental as it turns out.

Last season I laughed at Aaron as he flailed to defend the firing of Jim Harbaugh by his dumpster fire 49ers. Now we are the dumpster fire. We are the Cleveland Browns. After a season that already warranted a fair level of ridicule, we are now a complete laughing stock, and we f**k deserve it. f**k you Lurie.


Now watch Chip go to the Giants and beat us twice each year even if he's otherwise unsuccessful there.
