There's no way to tell how intelligent someone actually is by looking at grades or standardized testing scores. An ideal standardized test that couldn't be studied for would show aptitude but not intellect. You'd have to actually get to know someone pretty well to get a true read on how intelligent they are and colleges/employers don't have time to do that.

Also work ethic can change a lot from 15 to 18 and from 18 to 21 and from 21 to 24.

Have to disagree with you there Saz. Some people actually do under perform on standardized tests in a significant way.
