Not a Cowboys fan but Romo gets WAAAAYYY too much shit for how things play out with the team. Granted, he has thrown picks that ended games early but who hasn't, given this is a pass-happy league. I consistently see this guy put up good stats for the most part year after year, but hopefully those people who says cutting Romo is a good option have a decent long-term replacement in mind.

On to my team, I'm pissed the season's over but sorta glad since Flacco was less than himself since the end of that Detroit game and now he has time to heal. Not that he's free from blame, considering he's the one throwing picks, resulting in his terrible season. Seriously, I fail to understand how the defense can pick off Andy Dalton 4 times and fail to fully capitalize on that, he practically gift wrapped the game for them. And it's not like he has a shortage of possible weapons on the team either. Then again, some of that blame can go on the O-line not being that well, otherwise Ray Rice would have more than 600 rushing yards and 2 or 3 TDs for the year.

It's the other way around guys. Romo goes out and leads a game winning drive against the WASHINGTON REDSKINS and all over the media it's "omfg he's so amazing, MVP!"

Reid is much better than Ryan... The one thing they have in common is the players seem to play hard for both, but Ryan has little eye for talent.. And year after year Reid's teams are over .500... In Ryan's 5 years the Jets finished over .500 only once.. But of coarse in today's NFL being good on the offensive side of the ball is much more important than on the defense.. So that gives Reid an advantage right there.

Yeah I'll concede I shouldn't have gone so far as to compare him to Ryan. But literally, when Reid got to the Eagles, he handed over 100% control of defense to Jim Johnson. That's fine if you can find a guy like Jim Johnson for a long term, but that's a rare find. After Johnson died, Reid's eagles declined very quickly. Why should he be a head coach rather than offensive coordinator if his preference is to handle 0% of defense responsibilities?

Frankly, I'm pretty surprised the cowboys/eagles game was as close as it was, because I expected the cowboys to get rolled.

Cowboys get crushed by Bears, who were crushed by Eagles, who had a very close game with the Cowboys. The parity in this league is mind numbing.

Anyway, yet another completely average 8-8 season stuck in the Great Middle with the rest of the mediocre. Kind of used to it and I know it won't change while Jerreh is still alive. This must be how it felt to be a Raiders fan when Al Davis was alive .
I'd rather they went Texans on me and got a decent draft pick for their shitty season.

I agree. I hear cowboys fans saying Jerry should fire Garret, like that would matter as long as jerry is pulling the strings.
