So the eagles are apparently favored at home against New Orleans on Saturday. Who would have thought the eagles would be favorites against New Orleans in the playoffs?

As an eagles fan I officially consider this season a success. We're playing with house money going forward.

I seldom watch Sportscenter anymore.. BUT I do usually try to watch it on Monday's during football season. And every Monday they stick a microphone in front of Jerry Jone's face to get quotes from him.. Very rarely do I see any other owner, but Jone's mug is on almost every single Monday.

As long as that happens Jerry will never give up control of the football operations of the Cowboys, and drafting, etc.. He loves the publicity, he loves the spotlight, even at the expense of the team..

Our secondary is definitely the weak point of our team, but they're not a as awful as people like to say they are. The defensive philosophy in Philadelphia is to bend but not break. We rank as one of the worst defenses in terms of yards, but were middle of the pack in points allowed. I would also caution you against looking at season stats to determine the quality of the eagles on either side of the ball. Both sides have been consistently (except the d in that one Minnesota game) better for the second half of the season.

Low of 23 on Saturday per weather.com. But feel lucky, cause it's low of 8 with snow showers on Friday.

Eagles can definitely ball in cold weather. It will give us an edge. I think we'd for sure lose in the dome since Chip Kelly doesn't care about time of possession. Giving Drew 35-40 minutes of possession in the dome would be game over. But outside in the low 20s he scares me a lot less. Should be a good game.
