Yeah it is very strategic no doubt, but I still find it painfully boring and I despise the sheer volume of commercials and filler they throw at you while that scheming is going on. I also find the whole culture surrounding it to be a tad infantile, e.g., all the commercials featuring players doing stupid things.
It feels like the closest we've been to a carefully crafted system of mass entertainment designed to make the masses simple and docile, spewing crumbs as they guffaw at the latest antics of that silly JJ Watt or that likable oaf Peyton Manning, who we can now totally relate to!!!
