it is the type of moral quandary that appeals to adolescents with sublimated anger
He always gets picked on by bullies and authority figures let it happen, even manipulating events to make the torment happen, and WHAM he settles the issues with supreme violence and executes his tormentors. But he is still the good guy, because it wasn't his fault, he was doing it to achieve his final destiny of saving the human species
