let us all say a prayer that the union will see the error of their ways (existing). a bankruptcy court imposed a contract the union didn't like. so they strike -- and hostess will have to liquidate if they do not return to work today. then not only are we all f**k with no hostess twinkies EVER AGAIN aside from the ones you stockpiled but... so are those workers

I don't understand what these people don't get. The company is bankrupt. They are winning by keeping a job at all.

twinkies are disgusting. these people are doing a great service for this country.

So many people like twinkies....but when was the last time you saw one in real life. Its probably been 5 years for me.

I don't think I've eaten a Twinkie in years. Not that I wouldn't eat one, but I just don't buy snack cakes very often.

But this just goes to show the greed some people have. Instead of keeping your job and hoping things get better, you think you are entitled to benefits and pay raises? I'd hate to see the company go under but if the workers are this spoiled, they deserve to lose their jobs.

to be fair, they are getting a reduction. still, instead of striking they should quit -- it was a bankruptcy court that put these things on them. hostess is in a lot of trouble. if you think you deserve more, go and find it. but now 18,000 other people might lose their jobs and worse no more of those pocket apple pies.
