slightly funny, but he wasn't playing a game and there's no mention of Neighborhood Watch getting involved

A friend of mine runs things like this, and is always hassled by cops. He now claims that fun is illegal.

Yeah, we actually used to play a similar game of tag at night when I was a kid. The primary difference being that we actually had permission from every owner of the yards we would use. They also knew when we played, so they wouldn't mistake what was going on.
Even with all of this, the cops shut us down because the other neighbors, whose yards we never entered, didn't like kids running around at night in a well-lit neighborhood.
Of course that meant that there was now a large group of kids, adept at avoiding pursuit at night, who had no legal means of entertainment. Fun times.

Half of you would call the cops if you saw a teenager running through your backyard, lol.
I don't really think it's a big deal unless they're destroying personal property or trespassing over gates.

I just realized that story was out of DFW. Those are some pretty ballsy kids. My neighbor keeps his latest range target on his front door and his house is covered in cameras. There is no way I'd sneak through his back yard at night.
