Genius way of cutting your tax bill

So I stumbled on this genius idea. For less than 14 days rent out your house or apartment to a certified charity for $5,000 so that it's not taxable. Meanwhile donate $5,100 to the charity for their stellar work. You now have a $5,100 tax deduction which for the average household amounts to $1,200 less in taxes. It only cost you $100. Problem, IRS?

You want to team up with a charity that will help you defraud the government and avoid paying taxes, so they can net $100?
Stop being cheap and pay your taxes.

Sounds like you're looking out for tax cheats who can afford to pay the $1,200 but just feel like they're entitled to the benefits of living in society without paying their way.

If corporations and millionaires can find loopholes , the average American should be able to do the same. Just my opinion of course.
