metal detecting is pretty fun cuz the fantasies always bury the actual lack of success... I used to do it a lil years ago... found some junk silver... nick nacks.. nothing of huge value but it's kind of like golf... you get tired of it after a while, and then you hit one good shot and it sustains you for another 6 months...

People lose a lot of jewelry at beaches and parks. Plus that third of the US that is public land can be metal detected to your hearts content.

The interior states are more lucrative... Arizona is amazing.. tons of small towns with parks that no one visits... dry creek beds and shit tons of granite and magnetic ore that always accompanies gold
