...is nasty. I haven't really gotten sick in close to 2 years. I picked it up from my folks about a month ago and it took me since then to get over it. I wasn't really sick that whole time, it was very strange, I'd get real sick for a few hours...then feel better...then feel meh...then get real sick for a few hours again next week. I'm sad to report my stair-climbing skillz have really fallen off. Damndest thing, I figure it was a new strain my body wasn't used to so it took forever to fight off. I now know how the Wampanoag felt.

I almost never got flu shots, but because of a fluke thing I got one this year. Thank gawd.

yeah this flu is an asshole... first I got a chest-only infection,bronchial cough lasted for 3 weeks... then 2 weeks after that I got the stomach flu.

Never had a flu shot before... but then again I haven't been legitimately sick in at least a decade. Only the occasional couple day cold.

I've never got a flu shot, and I won't. There is no problem with getting the flu. I don't think anyone should get flu shots unless you have some external factor influencing your immune system... your body WILL outsmart it's self and assume that the next bad bug that comes along, it'll be taken care of instead of developing a robust set of antibodies.

I got a flu shot for the first time in years and haven't gotten this nasty bug. Possibly a coincidence, but I'm very high risk due to all the flying I do.

I was sick as heck for a few days over the holidays. First time in a long time.

I think the government should get involved.
