If we armed teachers, could I flaunt it to lazy students as a tool of motivation? If so, I approve.

We could also talk about how grading is inherently damaging to psychological development, and that kids develop entitlements to good grades with/without doing the work because there's no actual attachment between the kid and the material beyond the paranoia over a bad report card.

OMG! You hit a lot of cords with me, Hyp. I f**k hate lazy students. I hated the kids who bitched about spelling and grammar. I hated the kids who only asked questions about grades and how much shit is worth, and nothing about what material we'd be learning or how it all fit together.
I f**k hate dumbasses. High freaking five Hyp.

Kids are like animals. You gotta show them who is the alpha male. They'll listen to you if they think you can kick their asses. But a gun will not help. You need some Systema lessons.

Maybe they've already figured out that they're smarter than most of the people that are supposed to be teaching them.
