Here is what I did:
Cut and trim three artichokes. Place in crock-pot. Squeeze one juicy lemon over all three. Finely mince four cloves of garlic and press into leaves. Drizzle olive oil on top of each choke. Pour two cups of vegetable broth in the crock-pot, and cook on high for 3 hours.
If you really like garlic, put two smashes cloves in with the broth.
Mmmmmmm.
