There was something similar last year. Some guy rang 5 times wanting 911 to take him to get some beer. They eventually did send a police car - to arrest the damn fool

Hahaha - I did that once. Was working for the police while in college. I was on duty and in uniform, but in my personal vehicle. A car pulled up next to me with 4 college kids in it. Every one of them were drinking, including the driver. They asked me where a certain bar was, obviously from out of town. I told them that I was headed there, and that they should follow me.

I called my partner (who was at HQ) and told him to step outside the front door with 4 pairs of handcuffs. I led them straight to HQ and we promptly arrested them.

I kinda felt bad, then I got over it. I mean, why would you be drinking beer from a can, in a convertible, on a college campus, and ask directions of a uniformed cop? I figured that Darwin would have caught them sooner or later.

This whole thread is basically my professional life.
