Yeah, this was pretty much the most insane injury I've ever seen. Seen dislocated kneecap, saw Shaun Livingston basically destroy his knee in every way imaginable in one place. We've even see that injury in football. But I have never seen someone's leg snap from landing on the floor unobstructed. That kind of injury generally requires another force coming at the leg to do it.
I couldn't believe when the injury happened. It really looks like his leg just snaps in real-time. Disgusting. The reaction from his teammates on the bench says it all. Even the other players. Everyone was talking about it today. Feel bad for the kid. He's done with sports.
Also, DO NOT watch the injury unless you want to see someone's bone snap and break skin. It's THAT BAD.

yeah yeah, doctors say that all the time. They said it to Greg Oden, too. Guess where he is?
I'm sorry, but players who suffer major non-contact injury never return to form. I've never seen it and never will sans bionic bones. Only people who are injured by others ever come back.
If you're a 19 year old kid and your leg snaps playing basketball, your body is telling you something. His body isn't meant to play sports and no matter how many times the docs fix him, it won't change that.

Nice to see him looking a bit better, but I'd be considering another alternative since his bone snapped just like that.
Then again, I do remember the Marcus Lattimore injury too.

Having seen the Theisman leg break when I was a little tyke I have no intention of watching something like that again.
Well, unless it happens to one of my enemies that is.
