The proms in Macon, GA are not put on by the school; they're private events put on by parents.

Sure, people are bigoted. But a segregated high school prom? Really? That is old school racism, not even the more subtle modern variety.

The school board doesn't get a say. Your article says the school refuses to stop segregated proms, but the school has no control.
