Also, I just saw on this video that Southlake hasn't had a murder shooting in over 15 years...

No, won't be getting a weapon anytime soon. Probably a couple years from now. I honestly don't think in the event a shooting happens I would just run in guns blazing. We all love to think we can run into battle when the going gets tough, this shooter literally ran up to the guy getting into the car with his wife, shot him 4 times then was in a getaway car immediately. There isn't much time for me to react nor would I really be prepared for it.

We were in a gang shootout in my hometown (Pasadena) back in uh 95 or 96. I forget which it was.
My brother and I went to a Taco Bell in town with some friends after a football game and a gang fight broke out inside. We were like "ok, lets get the hell outta here," so we got up and left and were about 3 feet from our cars when guns started firing in the parking lot. We all ran and dove in our cars and got the hell outta there.
It was the ONE time my dad let us go somewhere after a game (usually, it was a 9pm curfew) so my brother and I swore we'd never say anything about it, else our parents would never let us go out again.
