Unrealistic in modern times, though. To be more current, the motorcyclists would have surrounded the car, broken the windows, dragged out the driver and beat him, while his wife and child screamed.

The artwork vaguely reminded me of Speed Racer. I totally do that when I'm concentrating on an awesome project.

That is the truth. I bought a Mercedes used. That car had 175,000 miles and still ran and shifted like a top. But to do even the simplest thing......holy freaking crap. Working on that thing killed me. And parts....even though the car was a 1998 model, the parts were still valued as if we were in 1998 and the car was worth 30,000 bucks. It wasn't. I paid 2500 for it and it needed 1500 dollars to fix the AC. I sold the thing as is and took my loss.

Almost lost me, until the end.

Had a 2001 vw passat, all the fundamentals were solid, engine, transmission ect, but all the little things would break, motors in the windows, electronics ect. VW makes up for the lack of reliability by adding alot of features and having good branding and advertising.

I didn't learn my lesson and just bought a 2008 volvo s40, shoulda went with honda or toyota.
