SF homeless are a particularly bad breed. They aren't the "I've fallen on hard times" homeless but "I've dropped 10 tabs of acid every day for the last 10 years" homeless. They are literally batsh*t insane.
SF is pretty much like Manhattan now where it is absurdly expensive to live there and it is hurting the culture of the city. I have some friends who live in "The City" and a ridiculously high portion of their salary goes to rent. It is a beautiful place with great food and history but its priceyness has killed a lot of the culture.

Paris is #1... Besides Paris SF is maybe the most beautiful city I've ever seen..
And this is a nice story too.. It's good to read nice stories like this once in awhile instead the same old crap about someone shooting their ex-coworkers.
