http://www.census.gov/censusexplorer/ce ... lorer.htmlPretty neat. Lets you look at education, median income, home ownership, age and population by state or country. Lets you change between bubbles and choropleth (whatever that means). Might be fun to dick around with.

They have high median incomes, but I wouldn't describe them as freakishly rich. The highest concentrations of wealth are in other places. Like Loudoun county for example only has 330,000 people. And the majority of the households are married-couple households with two or more working spouses. This skews the median upward.

WTF. How is there a 2-avenue by 4 block section of midtown manhattan (42nd to 46th street between 6th and 8th avenue) with a medium household income of $11,270?
