My Toyota Land Cruiser laughs in those people's general direction. Too bad I don't get to utilize it in Phoenix the way it was designed to be used in snow. Great for desert off road adventures though.

Shit man I drive a Chevy Sonic in those conditions everyday. That is a well-plowed road as far as I'm concerned.

I see quite a few trucks there. I handled near blizzard conditions in my 1995 Toyota corolla with 200,000 miles and no chains. on the reg.
what's wrong with these people?
My god. No wonder they lost the civil war

Morons. Most of that is front drive cars, which are by far the best things to have in the shit weather.
(And Chik fil a could cure cancer. I still wouldn't put any of their disgusting homophobic food simulacrum in my body.)

What pisses me off is people with 4 wheel drive vehicles who think because they have 4 wheel drive they can drive on anything. They're too stupid to see that on ice and slippery roads 4 wheels in drive slip just as easy as 2 wheels in drive.

i had to push some prius up a slight incline. it was stopped at the stoplight in front of me, trying to make a right turn as i was, and it was spinning on a slight amount of ice and didn't have the power to overcome it. i was laughing the entire time... who the hell buys a prius. after pushing him out of the way i got in my truck and just went right on up

4WD is good when you've already slid into the ditch and need to get back out. Better for starting and stopping...but only if handled correctly. Of course, 4WD tends to weight more...and so...inertia and all that jazz.
But yes. The overconfidence it gives people more than negates any advantage on the average.
Can't beat having the weight of the powertrain sitting on top of the drive wheels...which are also the steering wheels. Just pulling a car from the front rather than pushing from the back puts you on the right side of the leverage equation every time.
My car is a RWD sedan, and I'm pretty screwed when everything ices over.

That's bad. Another is the people with four wheel drive who just floor it, saying "I have four wheel drive" and thinking it'll work out. Yeah, we'll now we need a Zamboni for that ice rink you just created asshole.
Or the people who slam on their brakes when sliding down an icy hill. *sigh*
