Never heard anything negative about the guy and he was a top 20 actor alive today. Sad.

Too bad... Amazing how many of these very talented, and seemly smart artist/people become hooked to the point of killing themselves..
Among other movies I liked him in were 2 of his lesser roles.... Patch Adams.. Moneyball...

First show I remember him in was Boogie Nights. Too bad about the drugs, he was quite the talented actor.

he was clean for a nearly a quarter of a century and less than a year ago started using again and immediately went to rehab; he knew what would happen to him without help, spider, and he did try
