Rain is good for soul. Everything always smells awesome after a good rain. Don't know if there is anything that can make SoCal smell good, but rain would be the best bet.

Actually I smell jasmine and pine a lot walking around here. I feel like I smelled more obtrusive smells back on the east coast, especially with the summer humidity.

But it is true, things do smell better after the rain.

Bad form of me to slight the air quality of southern California in any case.

But seriously, water in general, though people gripe about getting it on their clothes and hair, is vital and life affirming. Its why everyone wants a view of a body of water, why people vacation on beaches, why hot tubs are so awesome. Getting a bunch of rain isn't going to make people more abrasive; it'll probably be good for their mental health. Do yourself a favor and go out and stand around in it. Tell me you don't feel better afterwards.

was drivin up the 405 an hour ago and saw a car had like fallen off the one of the on ramps, flipped over and all f**k up. hate drivin in the rain in socal cuz im always scared someone is going to hit me cuz ppl cant drive in the rain out here.

one inch of rain is comparable to about 10 inches of snow on average. so with 3.5, that would be 3 feet of snow. which is a lot of f**k snow.

yes, 3.5 inches of rain is a lot of rain anywhere. hopefully the ground can drink it up

I'm predicting massive mudslides. At least a few Malibu homes will wash up on Hawaiian shores.

i wish it would rain here instead of snowing all day, every day, for the entire week.
