Conservatives are naturally easily influenced, that's why they need the government to ban stuff so that they don't go out and do it. Liberals don't understand because they have ADHD and tend to support whatever new fad that's going on.
Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.
If guns are not outlawed, the in-laws will have guns.
