Still gonna be hard to actually get a missile TO a target when these Phalanx defense guns on the ships. If a missile, like the BrahMos II, is going Mach 7, it'll have to fly in a pretty straight line. That makes it relatively easy to hit. If it will maneuver to evade these bullets, it'll have to slow down.
About the only way to get by these is to employ countermeasures (chaff, jamming, etc.) or to overwhelm them with sheer numbers.
