Great super bowl this year. The fact that the commercials sucked makes it even better. And I didn't see a single second of the halftime show. Almost like it was about football or something.

Obviously, the insurance company feels they are writing too many checks.

They weren't really trying this year, that's my assumption. Except for that Nationwide commercial that was dark for no reason.

Maybe "The Big Game" commercials have lost that appeal that they once had for companies. After all, they are pretty expensive. It could be that marketing departments have found other avenues. Do you find it odd that none of the US automakers bought ads this year?
