No, I am not exaggerating. I just returned from a beer-cation in northern Wisconsin, and there is a shop called Ski's Meat Market in Green Bay. While I feel like I need a salad after eating brats all weekend, their products are absolutely amazing. Red onion and blue cheese... ANYWAY, thought you ought to know.

i have not had their brawtwurst, but up here in the land 'o lakes, we do have a lot of good wursts. sconies have good brats too. plus they hvae spotted cow. which you found out, i'm sure. did you go to the dells?

i had a bacon bluecheese garlic stuffed wurst fairly recently which was amazing. i also had a blueberry and rice stuffed one. pretty amazing as well actually

the danger of stuffing wurst with cheese is that first bite when it explodes in your mouth when you break the skin. at least with jucy lucys (stuffed burgers, minneapolis' gift to the world) they kind of ooze out even though they are scolding. but wursts are under pressure, so be careful out there

I was up in Door County for their annual beer festival. I also had one from a vendor at the festival itself, a curry one, and it was absolutely awesome as well. The blue cheese was not too bad, they must've tamed the napalm effect with a little flower or something. I have experienced just such cheese explosions, and they are not at all fun.
