I was awake when this happened friday night and was soon followed by my entire family... Went on for about an hour and a half and Twitter was up to the challenge.

fairly hilarious
my dog on the first wednesday of the month (when they test the sirens)... i need to be home for the guy after the incident.one time the windows were open, the door to the room he was in slammed shut, and the siren went off.
when i got back i found him in the room and that he freaked out about the alarm so much he tipped over a dresser

lol what. there is literally nothing that would happen from international affairs that would cause the sirens to go off. no one has an ability to project force on america. what do they think, the mexican drug lords have an army and they are set on territorial expansion into texas?
the only thing possible from any country to hit america would be nuclear weapons and hiding in your tub isn't going to do shit. if nukes are ever launched, i don't think they'd tell us. moscow to new york at ICBM speed accounting for acceleration is ~30 minutes
