Oregon authorities are investigating how a farmer was eaten by his pigs. Terry Vance Garner, 69, never returned after he set out to feed his animals last Wednesday on his farm near the Oregon coast, the Coos county district attorney said on Monday.

A family member found Garner's dentures and pieces of his body in the pig enclosure several hours later, but most of his remains had been consumed, the district attorney, Paul Frasier, said. Several of the pigs weighed 320kg (700lb) or more.

I guess they were getting their revenge for all the bacon we consume! Not a nice way to go.

my guess would be a heart attack, followed by falling in the pig pen.

It made me feel quite ill when I read about the poor man. Pigs will eat virtually anything. In the days before sewers, pigs were let loose in the streets to scoff all the accumulated filth and muck. I believe it worked quite well, but I've never been able to eat pork. I feel dead queasy just thinking about it.

Be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm

It was probably the best written show ever. If you listen to some of that exposition its damn near poetry.
