I've read it. I say the first book is really good, not great. The next two are better. Second one is best imo. There are some cool twists and turns, and the trailer does a good job capturing the otherworldy feel of everything. Looks solid. Really spare writing style. Portman is an an...interesting choice I guess, for the biologist? (In the book, no names. I guess that doesn't fly in the movie business). I'm just glad Alex Garland is getting more work.

If you haven't already I suggest reading "Borne." I like Vandemeer's writing style.

I've got that one on the pile. The pile is too deep.

Judging from the trailer the movie will have parts from the first two books? Not sure how that works considering the movie title....? Oh well.
