Something terrible happened today...

I thought I found my favorite wine brand in the store today. Too bad it was the winemaker's Sauvignon Blanc instead of Chardonnay.

Freaking terrible day. Now I understand what it must be like to be impoverished in this country. Not Holocaust bad, but easily Trail of Tears.

White wine rocks. But then again there isn't much in the alcoholic beverage world that I would turn my nose up at. Those syrupy sugary Goldschlager ones are about the only things I won't touch.

White wine is simply excellent. Love a good Reisling with some of dat stir fry, Moscato for dessert, maybe some Semillon with mussels (this is a belgian classic, perhaps one of my favorite meals in existence). No shame in the white wine man, it's a real treat.

But yes, for general occasions Chardonnay > most.
