I attended an even last go around when then candidates Obama and Clinton were giving speeches... both imo good speakers. However, I really thought Hillary did a better job. Pretty rare for presidential candidates to show up in Montana with 3 electoral votes and a June primary so I didn't want to pass up the opportunity.

Yeah I don't really care who it is. I just think it'll be cool to hear the President of the United States speak in person.

Been to see Obama twice in 08 and Bush twice in 04. Never made it to see anyone else but would. Just an interesting experience.

I went to see Jessie Jackson speak when he was running... prick didn't show up and the organizers didn't bother telling the crowd he wasn't going to show, kept us there to listen to some lame stand in.

I saw GWB speak in 2004. Packed into the back of some auditorium with about 7000 of my stinkiest friends. Barely saw him, heard even less.
At those events, they should have bouncers at the door asking people, "Have you already decided to vote for the candidate? If so, would you mind giving up your seat/ticket to someone who is still undecided so that the candidate can attempt to sway as many people as he/she can?"
I just don't understand why those places are always packed with people who have already made up their minds. Seems like the undecideds would want to be there, to help make up their minds.

Ahhh - that makes sense.
I figure if they get my vote, I've done my part. I ain't giving any of my money. I don't give it to the homeless on the street - I ain't about to give it to some multi-millionaire!
