Already celebrated it last month, but I suppose I'll drive down to NY to celebrate it again end of this month.

Gonna be with the family and eat, drink, sleep, get up and eat again. More sleep. And of course football watching and gambling on it with some poker in between. I like the same ole thing. Whenever do you get a chance to be with the oddities that are your family and in-laws all under one roof. Fun stuff!

Find yourself a Bourbon Red turkey and have it shipped to you the day before TG. Stick it into a nice brine solution overnight (water, salt, apple cider, sugar, ice). Stick some onions and herbs in the cavity. Roast at 500* for a few minutes until breast is browned; cover breast with tinfoil, reduce heat to 350*, and continue cooking until breast meat registers 160*.
Or, you can smoke it. I think I'll do that this year.
