I think that all countries are guilty of neglecting preventative health care. The biggest thing we could change is the eating habits of children. I personally find it appalling that while so many children go hungry, the rest are eating godawful, preservative-laced, sugar and salt filled crap.

That's because like so many other things here, those industries control our gov't. So any reasonable attempt to educate children/families on healthy eating for life is resisted.

Who's that guy who does Food Nation? He's constantly pointing out how awful we eat here.
