Babylon Berlin is out today on Netflix. I watched two episodes. My major complaint is that it was translated into British English and Netflix didn't take the time to fix this. My gf is fairly fluent in German and said it was very confusing for her because German and Merican translate very well but the Brits word things oddly indeed. I noticed similar things with the Russian. Plus Brits say things like "child shagger" which is in the show. But this is a complaint about the English people ruining English, and not the show. The show seems starting to warm up. It's done pretty well, but i wish they were subtle about more things. Instead they revisit things (eg the doc looking at porn instead of the discreet handoff when he asks for a prescription) even when it's just a little joke as far as I can tell. Some things I didn't find believable include Russians smiling though
