yeah its 3/4ths majority of states can do an amendment. he's basically proposing an amendment to make a 2/3rds be necessary to keep a law that amends the constitution but not really.
but no dylan, if 7 really works as it does today then there wouldn't be a national effective drinking age, there wouldn't be illegal drugs from the feds, there wouldn't be the healthcare act, there wouldn't be social security, there wouldn't be a standing army such that we have........... the list is immense of how much the feds oversteps its legal authority. and while much of it i want destroyed (like for example social security, which i think is wrong for any just government to do because it creates moral hazard), i must be a pragmatist and say we can't at this point.
