I trust neither, but the current GOP's stance on many issues is either insane, stupid, or just head-scratching these days.

The war really wasn't inevitable and if Saddam made a "big move" ( query how he could have given Iraqs general shittiness) we wouldn't have needed to go it alone. Plus we could cut our mitary spending in half and still be able to easily contain Saddam.
